Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 users will now be able to get daily updates of news for as little as $4 per month or for $40 a year. This is Rupert Murdoch’s Android tablet-optimized news app.

In fact, this is the first device that has The Daily app pre-installed. Verizon has recently announced their list of new partnerships at CES about brining in The Daily, Slacker Radio app with a list of other apps to the android tablet.
These apps are exclusively created and mainly focus on Samsung Galaxy 10.1 while it will take some time for them to get an update on the Galaxy Tab 7.7. This app mainly focuses on giving its users a content rich user interface.
That’s not all, Verizon is also bringing the Slacker Radio to a wide range of android tablets and they have already launched apps like TouchyBooks and Trend Micro Mobile Security Personal Edition, and so on.
